Was hurt at the beginning of 2000, out of work for eight months
July 2001 I was hurt again (same injury), and I was out for fifteen months (give or take).
April of last year I worked my last day as a carpenter, now and for the last year I have been a 24/7 stay at home Dad.
After twenty odd years of working I need the time off

About 3 weeks... the time it took to find one after I finished college. Have been there 10 years now... the fear of going without a job is the only thing keeping me there.

I got fired once from Bellsouth for being late all the time, it was like 2 months before I got a new one. I lived off savings so it wasn't that bad, but the part that sucked was the feeling of being useless and non productive.

I'm a college student, and this is the first year that I haven't had a job outside of summer...so money is really tight right now. I don't have time to focus on something large scale other than my classes.
