there is a factory in Amboise France.
They pay poor french women to grow their nails long, and then they harvast them.

Actually its interesting where the name comes from. during the vietnam war "Charlie" A.K.A The V.C A.K.A Viet Cong A.K.A King Cong. Would Apply these nails to prisoners of war so when the ripped the nail out of the nail bed, They wouldn't have ugly looking nails on their floor. The Reason They Are Called French Nails Is Because Vietnam was occupied by france for decades preceding the war.
