The entire East is over rated.

No I think they are underrated.

They have the right mix of young players (Bosh, Bargnani, Ford, Calderon, Graham, Humphries) and veterans (Garbajosa, he is not technically a vet but he has played bball for a while now, Anthony Parker, MO PETERSON, Jose Calderon, Darrick Martin, Rasho Nesterovic)

They have enough firepower inside and outside with Bosh, Humphries and Graham and outside with Anthony Parker, Mo peterson, Calderon and Ford.

THey have 2 VERY VERY VERY GOOD PG's ....ford and calderon...huuuuuge asset in the playoffs.

A good rebounder in Nestrovic and I think they have enough big bodies to battle with Detroit, Miami and Cleveland.

Bargnani is gonna be the spark off the bench and he is an excellent 3 point shooter so playing him along side bosh will extend the defense and ease things up for them and they will have an inside outside game going

Very talented and experienced guards in Dixon, Peterson and Parker.

I don't know why people think they suck but they don't! They're gonna make it to the nba finals!

They are a good defensive team as well so they're gonna shock some people!

no they arent overrated, tj ford is that much of a difference maker as a point guard, look at millwaukee without him. and anthony parker has come out of nowhere to play solid ball. and chris bosh is the next KG if he works on his game. people keep saying the east is garbage, they won 2 of the last 3 championships right. and there are garbage .500 teams in the west making the playoffs too. both conferences have about 3 or 4 heavy title contenders, the whole eastern conference is just underrated...i'll take miami or detroit over dallas and pheonix in crunch time anyday...

No, they are not over-rated based on the fact that yes in the east they are a contender. The does not have the great talent the west has, but its a matter of time before we can call the east the better league with all the young talent. They have played well in the east and have beaten some of the top teams.

Not really. Bosh is an all-star, and T.J. Ford is good for their high-tempo offense. I also enjoyed watching the big rookie Bargnani play. Other teams may have more talent (like Wizards), but Raptors' chemistry is better, and I think that matters more in today's game.

NO! they are not overrated, and no I am not from toronto. but I have become a big fan after watching their team this year and last in vancouver.
They have a legitamate underlooked, (but gaining noterity now) star in Chris Bosh. One of the top 3 pf in the game with duncan and garnett. To go along with this at point they have calderon and ford, calderon who is one of the best backup pgs in the nba, and ford whos no doubt one of the quickest which allows him to pull up allover the court but he hasnt gotten greedy and bought into mitchell and colangelos system. I could go on and on about their other players but bottom line they are very deep garbojosa/bargani go down they have players like humphries and joey graham as well as parker drastically picking up their game seemlessly.

however they do need to work on defense. overall they are solid but when it comes down to defending key possesions they cant seem to shut opponents down. they also lack experience in the playoffs (garbo would have brought alot to the table there being in several european and olympic championships) I believe they will make the east finals but lose to detroit in 6. proboply want to place your bets on that happening now

Nope, but I think the New York Knicks are. All that money, and they made a stupid move in giving Isiah an extension and only winning 32 games?

Yes.

ALL the Toronto teams are overrated.

40 years without a Stanley Cup and TML fans are still saying, "Maybe next year?"

Sheesh!!!
