If you were them, what would you be thinking?? And please don't go off on me about this--I haven't heard anything in the news about it though I admit watching only MSNBC. I am wondering what all of you think because I just can't imagine it myself.

I feel SO badly for them. They must be horrified. Koreans are culturally a very PROUD people- especially those from the "old country"-like these were. I suspect the Authorities have them in hiding somewhere- so that nobody can go "after them" for what their son did. It's all such a tragic waste... :(

I am sure they are devastated that Cho would commit such a crime. Their probably in shock, they might have some guilt. Like maybe they saw he was depressed and feel they could have done more to help him. Then again who knows perhaps when he was around family he put up a false front it can happen. Just look at the Amish school innocent, the wife had no idea that her husband had issues, at home he was a good husband and father.

I'm sure they are grieving for him (and the other 32) because no matter what he did he was their son/nephew/grandson etc

definite, i think of the media might desire to have shown the video of Cho Seung Hui. i do no longer think of exhibiting Cho Seung-Hui's video by using the media is glorifying his strikes. once I observed on television that 33 human beings have been killed in a mass shooting at Virginia Tech college, the 1st component that got here to my recommendations grew to become into, how might desire to somebody do something so terrible. i think of that query grew to become into spoke back while NBC and different media stations confirmed the video of Cho. the displaying of the video extremely confirmed how disturbed Cho grew to become into. He grew to become right into a delusional guy, who want help. I additionally do no longer trust the assertion that the video will instant copycat killers because of the fact to my recollection, there grew to become into no video of the Columbine shooters. yet there have been different college shootings after the the Columbine shootings. the foremost's that there are disturbed human beings obtainable and in the event that they're going to dedicate mass murders, seeing the video of Cho can no longer exchange something, different than(and it is what extremely concerns me) thinking of a thank you to out do what Cho has executed.

I would feel guilty because that's MY son and I'm his mom and I should know what's going on. I would forever feel empty and hurtful like as if I was one of his victims, too. If they tried to be good parents, people should feel bad for them. If they were crappy parents, this should be a lesson to all parents. You should stay close to your children and always be aware of any problems they are having and be willing to help and never push them away or make them feel alone. Kids rely on their parents to always be on their side and in their corner through life, but not all do that. Pray for the family as well as the victims' families.

If I were one of the parents of the Shooter who killed 32 and injured more, I WOULD FEEL GUILTY. I would feel this way because as a mother I should recognise the symptoms that he was displaying. If he were paranoid schizophrenic then I was not paying attention to his dangerous symptoms....dangerous to others around him. So I would feel really like a neglecting mother and GUILTY.

I would imagine grief, shame, guilt, bewilderment, anger, depression. It's impossible for me to really know as I've never been in a situation even remotely close to it.

I could only hope they are religious people and ask for forgiveness for their son. He has definitely entered the depths of Hell!!!!!! I would be completely, and extremely in shock and couldn't begin to apologize for what I would have felt if my child had done something of this nature. There really is no excuse and/or reason.

It's hard to say, but I know they are probably very sorry for what happened to the 33 people their son murdered.
