The quickest and easiest source to start is your local public library. There you will find books on sleight of hand, conjuring or magic. If you'd rather just go to the shelf and browse, look around Dewey Decimal number 793.

I would start with books on sleight-of-hand and misdirection - things that every magician needs. The problem is that the old saying really is true: "A good magician never reveals his secret", so it is unlikely that you are going to find a school where you find out how David Blaine or Criss Angel do their illusions. These are things that are developed by the individual magician, and are guarded secrets because if every magician knew how to do them, the impact would be less.
