Did they ever find the son of former Houston Astro, Jose Cruz?

The son of former Houston Astro (now first base coach) Jose Cruz was reported missing in May of 2006. Does anyone know if he was ever found?

I could not locate anything on his reappearance. Hopefully he was found and quietly placed in rehab. It was not a news story on the West Coast even though his brother Jose Jr. plays for the Padres.
