notebook doesn't start right?

I have a gateway mx6128 notebook. when I try to start it up the screen doesnt always come on. some times after turning it on and off a few times then it works. when it does start up I get the message
RESOURCE CONFLIFT- PCI ON MOTHERBOARD
BUS:06 DEVICE:09 FUCTION:04

What does all this mean and how can I fix it.

Tough question.
I would strat by getting the "inf" file from the mfr website and install it. This might resolve your conflict, and at least it won't hurt anything.

If this doesn't work, I would go into the BIOS and set it back to default. And would even update the BIOS if available.
