Is it too late to have the president impeached...?

It is never to late to impeach a president. But it is up to congress whether to go with the impeachment proceedings.

If Congress set its mind to it, the entire trial could happen in a few months. So no, technically, it's not too late. But unfortunately, it's unlikely to happen.

And to the commenter above: the "war" that Bush envisions will last forever. So does this mean that we can never impeach a president again?

Now, how could it be? Until the last day of office - then he leaves, but you could still try him for treason. It also depends what president- of the USA? of the Gap? Soft serve ice cream? Because if you're talking about Mr Softee - nobody messes with Mr Softee - he has ice cream for a head!
Should Bush be impeached - legally it would be hard to determine if he was a legitimate president - but he's gone far past impeachable offenses. He's committed treason so many times he should change his name to Bin Laden.

Let's not focus on the past. What is done is done and now in the history books. Instead of further complaining about the sometimes comical ineptness of The President, maybe we can find some qualified candidates who will actually do what they claim instead of offering lip service to gain office!! So far, I must say that our choices seem downright nauseating in regard to our potential next Commander in Chief.

As I have asked many times with no answer. What crimes has he commited that you think he should be impeached for? Tax cuts that have helped our economy even in these crazy times? Record brealing stock market numbers? Keeping your silly butt safe here at home while our military fights the islamo terrorists in another land?
