Can any one tell me why Fox News is the only news station with a thirty second delay on Live coverage?

Today at work they had three TV's showing the presidents speach at Virginia Tech CNN and CBS were in sinc but Fox was thirty seconds behind. Are they ready to censor anything that might make Bush look bad. Do we need more proof that they are the administrations mouth piece? I checked it through out the day and every time there was a live simulcast Fox was the only one with the delay. I checked it with ABC, MSMBC, and even ESPN.

All news stations have a delay on the broadcast. The same is true with radio, which frequently has delays of up to 45 seconds. They all have some delay. Maybe fox's is longer than the others I dont know. Maybe its more to censor things like a wardrobe malfunction. You know what im talking about.

Hmmm. Maybe it's your liberal TV, did you buy it in Mexico? All broadcasts have a lag, there is no such thing as instantaneous television. If you're broadcasting on public TV you have to sensor anything that may fall outside of the FCC guidelines; I worked as a broadcast engineer a few years back.

Thank God if they are checking out the feed before putting it on. I for one wouldn't want to see someones head explode or Ludicris get interviewed what with his filthy mouth while watching it with my grand-kids; of course I'm not as liberal as some.

I never noticed a difference in delay. It could just be the way their satellite uplink was working today. Have you noticed this at any other times besides today?
