Weary from an afternoon playing video games but satisfied that someone else would do our homework for us, we welcomed the e-mails from Yahoo Answers.
Put your sentence in the same form as this one, and you will have a good sentence.

In #15, the "twisting the valve tightly shut" is currently modifying the fire hydrant when it should be referring to a fireman or someone. "The fire hydrant stopped spewing water into the street when the valve was twisted tightly shut." This answer doesn't introduce any other characters into the sentence, but you could also say "Twisting the valve tightly shut, the fireman stopped the fire hydrant from spewing water into the street." In #19, just add a "that"? "Mary noticed that sometimes her hair was askew." Same in #23? "Dad said that on the way to the game, we would stop for ice cream." That's the easiest fixes for these. I'm interested to see what others say.

Welcome the weary trees satisfied with the shade of our work days.

Just kidding.

Are you allowed to add words to the new sentence? The sentence you provided doesn't have a subject.
