Vampires don't have great human power, apart from ones on steroids, eveyone incredibly has fangs some vamps merely might desire to have larger. no longer all drink blood, i'm one that does, yet we don't merely pass around at night killing human beings and eating there blood, we purely drink it if the different person is prepared. Vampires are international, some are risky merely like some people are risky. We die any way people do and we've skills that are gained by using journey or being born with them. no longer something specific nevertheless, same issues people can do.

People who consider themselves witches or vampires, in the real sense of the word, are following their religious, or spiritual beliefs. And in any reputable religion, they believe certain faithbased exceptions exist. However, let's take Wiccan for example, a wiccan person may by some be considered a witch, and some may believe they have the ability to conjure up a spell, or look to nature to resolve a problem, but the majority of them do not believe that they are supposed to use their abilities to harm others...and many of them don't believe they have the ability to bring upon harm in a mystical sense.
I believe that those who believe they have powers that allow them to prevail above everyone else are better classified as in a cult...and those people may claim that they can bring harm, but I guess there's no actual proof that they can't.
Unless they are following a true religious faith, or spiritual belief, then a person who considers themselves a witch or a vampire could be considered nothing more than something that dropped out of a fairytale, or myth. But reality speaking, there are witches and vampires, simply because people consider themselves to be either of the two...the question is whether or not they fall under what you classify as one...a stereotypical view of something is usually preceeded by rumors, or outlandish stories, etc, not factual evidence. If you met a witch who didn't behave like a witch from your childhood story books, would you still consider them a witch? Probably not. But if you were raised believing that a witch is actually a person who is a member of a certain religion, then you'd be more inclined to believe that the person is a witch.

What makes you think that ANYONE has any kind of supernatural powers? I am a witch! My "powers" consist of being able to aid to ease suffering from injury or illness by the use of herbs. Using colours and scents to affect moods. Use the energy of the earth for protection and healing. If the Christians are so almighty with their prayers why isn't their God stopping all the wars and killing? Should I think that Christianity is BS because of that?

Because it's all relative... if they are like that they may lack certain other specific things that the 'normal' people have... of course it may all be pure mythology but if it isn't they would be like a certain other 'species' on Earth, just like there are so many right now too... every species has different, more specialized abilities, but it's all filling in to form one world... there are no superior species, there are just different species which provide abilities that others may not have...

there are real witches and vampires out there but their powers are somewhat limited as to what you hear in mythology.
i am a witch (or wicce/warlock if you prefer) and we aid people and ourselves through meditation and ritual. we don't have the power to morph people into toads or kill off people with spells, nor would we want to if we did have that power :)
there are true life vampires (they spell it vampyre) but the real world vampyre feeds off of a person's energy instead of their blood. they have to live day to day by depleting one's energy and ingesting it into their own spirits so that they do not lose their essence.
