She's probably upset that she isn't getting the calls the NHL promised she would get. Back during the lockout, the owners decided that they need a new superstar. Knowing there was this little girl named Shirley Crosby who had talent and was turning pro, the league decided that it would be too rough and tumble for her to succeed. So they "sissied up" the rules so that figure skaters can score goals now.

Being the best player in the NHL (and at 19!) comes with a lot of responsibility. For one, you have to pay your dues. In the NHL paying dues means that you are going to get the crap beat out of you.
See, every team the Pens play want Crosby off the ice. If he goes in the box for two, four, five, ten minutes, the oppositions chances at winning are increased. It is five parts strategy to win a singular game and five parts attempt to break the kid down.
Sid has a bullseye on his chest. The more the opposing team can screw with him, the less effective he will be. At least in theory.
Crosby cries because he takes more S*** than any other player in the league right now. What will make him great his short memory and his loyal teammates (anyone else see Malkin jump that guy after Crosby was cheapshotted after the play?). Gretzky got roughly the same treatment, but he had enforcers on his side (in a much retribution friendly era) and had an uncanny ability to avoid any check. Crosby prefers to take the body when he has to, and is not going to shy away from a legal confrontation. Because of Crosby's increased physicality, he leaves himself open to many more cheap shots (because a good defender will put himself between Sid and the ref, and take a shot at him).
As for the first part of your question, I have no clue how to respond, other than with shameless self promotion. Crosby plays the game better than anyone since Mario, and will likely eclipse Mario in a few years and end up behind Gretzky as the best ever.
Crosby has the finesse of a European (i.e. Sellane), but the toughness of a Canadian (i.e. Neely (ok, maybe not that tough, but you get the idea)). The kid has incredible core strength that you can see when he skates and fights off multiple checks to get to a puck in the corner.
But, in my humble opinion, the best way to describe how good he is, is that he teammates cannot adjust to his level of play. If you watch him on a daily basis (and I do not, but I have seen enough of him to state this as fact), you would see the incredible passes that he makes, through the crease usually, to teammates that are just not there because no one would think he would be able to do such things.
As for the shameless self promotion, a link to my blog is in the source area, citing to an entry that has six Crosby youtube videos. I watch this guy and my jaw drops. He may not be as great as the Great One, but he is much more of the prototypical hockey player.

a million Crosby is the guy absolutely everyone seems to be attempting to shutdown and jointly as there is concentration on Malkin there basically isn't as plenty. the reason being that Crosby is the extra advantageous participant and in the event that they have been to place all the concentration on Malkin then the Penguins offense might have extra efficiency. Malkin is great participant it incredibly is basically that maximum communities experience that Crosby is the extra advantageous participant. #2 I agree. Crosby has been extra advantageous than Malkin or he's a minimum of been extra consistent. Crosby has been good this sequence against Detroit. All i've got heard from Wings followers is that Crosby has been shutdown and he's plenty overvalued and yet they might't see how there group has pulled out all the stops on attempting to close him down. Crosby continues to be in a position to get the probabilities and by video games one and 2 the subject wasn't that Zetterberg's thoroughly "owned" Crosby it became into basically that his line-friends have been no longer able to end. i think of Malkin will win the Conn Smythe however. EDIT - Palindrome who're the 12??

What hockey have you been watching ? Sidney Crosby is a talented young player. Didnt he had 100 pt season? This is the thing , he had the charisma and the skill. I may not like how he burned the Rangers at time but i got to respect his desire to win and his skill. I once saw Penguins vs Islanders , when Islanders went after him and tries to take him down with a check , he refuses to go down.

Yeah he is a little bit of a whiner and he does sometimes have a point. Now I remember another guy who used to whine and chirp in his first couple of years for much the same reasons back in the early 80s. His name was Wayne Gretzky. Crosby will mature and zip the lip a little more. He's still an awesome talent and will be for a long long time.

sidney crosby is the most annoying, cocky, self-centered piece of crap to ever play this game. However, he is an amazing hockey player and people should be way more respectful of all hockey players.

He's a skilled hockey player. He just is getting made to look terrible by the team he's playing in his first (and this season's last) round of the playoffs. If his hockey skills are suppressed, his acting-for-the-ref skills have to step up compensate.

he doesn't suck... but he is becoming the Vince Carter of hockey...
what barry m says "He needs to grow up and realize the world does not revolve around him. He acts like EVERY call should go his way." is right on the money...
he's still a boy... I'm sure he'll stop his whining in 2-3 years, when he becomes a well respected veteran...

and don't forget, without guys like crosby, there wouldn't be an NHL in a few years. you have to realize that he is the future of the league and you'll be stuck with him for a long time so you better get used to it son.

OK, I don't like the penguins or Crosby, but I respect the heck out of him because he may whine and cry but he can play.
