I recently bought a C-Media 8768 PCI Card

BUT I can't seem to install it, Windows Simply recognizes it as a "PCI DEVICE" How do i make it be recognized as an Multimedia Audio thing? OR MAKE IT WORK EVEN????

I have the Drivers but it always says "Inset the C-Media Device??? But it is already installed, just not recognized properly......

Take the card out, uninstall the drivers, reboot. Reinstall the drivers first, then shut down install the card. See if that works for you.

pappy is right, that's the way to do it. I just successfully installed a C Media sound card w/ a downloaded driver that way 3 weeks ago.

try downloading a driver from the internet.

try ( www.driverguide.com )

install the downloaded driver and let see will it help u.
