I have heard of people becoming pregnant even though on the pill etc. And of course there's a failure rate. But do you think that failure of b.c happens for a reason to certain people? No matter what protection you are using, you're still supposed to get pregnant so will.
Sort of like my view, if you're going to win lotto, you will - not matter how many tickets you buy. If its supposed to happen it will.
I know some of u won't agree with me, but i'd prefer no smart comments back thanks!

Yes I do. I have 2 kids and have never been married. I use birth control. The wierd thing is that my family who are Christian and believe that God creates every child and believes that God works in everything for good if are opent to that.. those are the people that can't accept that me and my kids are happy and peaceful with our lives. And my non Christian friends were the ones that when I got pregnant reacted with "OH, I am so surpirsed and excited for you!" My kids were meant to be, and so was I

Ah, the question of pre-destination.
I have mixed feelings about this. I was raised as a Catholic and pre-destination was high on their list of dogma. However, I always had a hard time with that, as we were also taught that God gave us free will. I don't think it is possible to have both, unless you are willing to believe that all of your choices were meant to be, pre-ordained if you will. And then, where is the free choice in that if the outcome is already cemented? So, I guess I would have to say that regardless of how we try to arrange our lives, that there will be accidents that change our course. And sometimes, they are happy ones. My daughter,Olivia was not planned, but she is one of the happiest "mishaps" I've ever had.
If you are pregnant and didn't plan on it, know that it isn't the end of your life:A child can be a great joy to you. But don't romanticize it either. Children take every thing you've got and more. If you aren't ready to commit to a life time of care just yet, then don't. But my advice and opinion is to make your own mind up and be the master of your destiny. Don't leave it up to superstition.

I believe that to a degree. I know that my sister in law is one of those people who got pregnant on the pill......twice. So with her I say that is just a birth control that doesn't work for her. I also think that when people can't become pregnant it doesn't mean they shouldn't be parents. I do believe that everything happens for a reason and we may not know what it is but we will eventually know.

I think everything happens for a reason, and especially in the case of a new life, for the best. I was on the pill and took it religiously every day at 1:30 pm...and now I'm pregnant! I just figure my body really wanted to have a baby, or this egg really wanted to be fertilized, or this baby really wanted to be born! lol.

Oh i absolutely agree 100% with you. Everything happens for a reason even if we cant understand why its happening at the time. Like me! Falling pregnant at 18, everyone thought i was ruining my life. But i have never been happier because it happened for a reason. Like when people say that they cant picture there life's any other way without there kids, and most of those people fell pregnant by mistake. You know what i mean? :)

I think that's correct. My forth son was conceived while using the pill and condoms right before I got my tubes tied. The day I went in I found out I was pregnant. Imagine that. I think all children are blessings. Do I think that they are any more important or special then planned children? No. I just think they are around to remind us how precious and miraculous life is.

Yes I do! My husband and I have a 4 year old and a 9 month old. We wanted to wait until our son was in school to try again. I was faithfully on the patch after I had him for 3 years and one day I missed my period and along came my second son. I think if you are meant to have another baby, you will. God works in mysterious ways but it's always for a reason! Good luck.

I completely believe that is the case. I got pregnant while on the pill because I had antibiotics injected in my gums at the dentist. It slipped my mind completely that I would need to use alternative protection during that time.
God gives you what he wants you to have, and I believe in my case he was ready for me to become a mother.

I believe that God doesn't make mistakes. So if you become pregnant then it is meant to be, but that does not mean that you do not take precautions. God gave us protection so we should use it. There is a reason for everything!
