Im actually trying to get a career in the medical field, preferably as an x-ray tech or something similar. Which would I benefit most from...an associates degree in health information technology OR a diploma/certificate from a vocational class/school?

You get better training in a hospital-based program. The pay is the same. You might get a little more with a BS, but it isn't necessary unless you want to go into management.

I'd say having an associate's in that specific concentration wouldn't hurt, but taking it at a college or at a hospital should be fairly equal as far as what you would get with pay when you finish.
