I have always had bags under my eyes, I'm pretty sure they're hereditary. I understand I will never get them to go away, but I'm looking for tips to make them less noticable. I usually just use coverup to hide them, but any other ideas? What about that cold-spoon trick you see on tv, does that help?

Thank you all for the tips. I have heard the prep-h thing before too. With all these tricks can you please specify exactly how to do it? For example, with prep-h do i put in on before going to bed and leave it all night, or after I shower in the am, or just leave it on for a lil bit? And how often should I do it, etc...? Sorry to sound like such a beginner but I would hate to accidentally do it wrong and have something crazy happen!

Undereye bags might be caused by puffiness and one of the best ways is to put a wet- could be used warm tea bag and place it under your eye bags for 5-10 mins. You'll be able to see some immediate result. Red tea bag recommended. Good Luck.

There is a tea bag that is just for that problem. I would suggest going to the
Pharmacy and talk to the girls in the beauty products section. They should be able to come up with a good solution. Just explain to them what the problem is.
Good luck. I look in the mirror and see that the bags under my eyes are packed
and ready for a holiday somewhere. Wish I had the money to go with them.

That cold spoon trick can work but also cool tea bags that are decaffeinated, and cucumber slices sooth the skin too. Good luck with the bags.

there are tons of crazy things to make your bags lighter but they are jsut to complicated. i have really light skin and i have horrible bags under my eyes. what i do is take really light eyeshadow that is a bit lighter then my skin then i jsut take the eyeshadow and put it over my bags. it isn't permanent and if you touch your eyes alot it will come off. so i suggest go to the store and buy some eyeshadow and see what works for you.

Do you have allergies? My bags are hereditary but so are my allergies and during allergy season (like right now) they get worse. So my cure is a daily claritin or other antihistamine, lots of rest and cold compresses on my eyes.

Preparation H. Just a little will shrink those under eye bags.(I was in a beauty pageant a few times, and that is what our coaches told us to do.)
