Not at all! The best time to work out is the time that consistently fits into your schedule and enhances your day instead of disrupting it. There is no physiological benefit to working out at a particular time of day, so choose a time that you know you can stick with. Some people have better luck getting their workout done in the morning, before they have time to make excuses for not doing it. Other people don't feel very motivated in the morning, or find that a workout is a great way to blow off the tension after work, so they choose to do their workouts in the evening. So don't worry about what time of day you're getting your workout in, as long as you are getting it in.

No, however, there are some things to bear in mind when working out in the evening. . .

You should try to work out at least 4 hours before you go to sleep. You may have difficulty falling asleep for the first few hours after working out, and even if you do fall asleep, your body and metabolism will still be revved up to the extent that you do not get enough restful REM sleep, which is vital for muscular recovery after working out.

Also, if you are trying to build muscle, you should take some kind of slow digestive protein, such as nonfat cottage cheese or casein protein just before bedtime, as your body will need protein while rebuilding muscle fibers.

Not at all, I work out in the morning lifting weights, & when I get home in the evening, I go out & run around the track at the park, which has a track thats equal to 1 mile, so after running 10 times around this track, I go home & the sweat is glistening on me, which my Girlfreind finds sexy, after I shower I sleep like a baby, so yes, execercising at night is good for you.

Can't see why it would be unless you already worked out during the morning and afternoon as well. Working out at anytime it good though I would suggest morning as it wakes you up and suppresses appetite. Working out just before bed would raise the heartrate and make it difficult to sleep. If you work out at five or six and don't go to bed till nine or ten though it shouldn't be a problem.

No! Not at all! The only thing that's negative about working out at night is that you're boosting your metabolism then, and experts reccomend exercising first thing in the morning so you get your metabolism going for the day. That's the only thing I can think of.... OH! Also, when you plan to work out at night, it's easier to put it off for the next day (oh, long day at work etc...)

No, it's not. Exercise is benifical, regardless of when you do it. As long as you don't exercise on a full stomach, I'd say anything's fair game.

They do say, however, that the best time to work out is in the morning, shortly after rising.

I always found that working out at night gave me lots of energy and find it hard to fall asleep at bed time. It's not bad to work out at night if that works for you.

No, it is not bad. For some people, it may cause them to stay awake and not be able to go asleep. For others, it causes allows them to fall asleep more easily.
But no, any time to work out is fine.

Its not bad but it could cause you to have trouble sleeping because your body doesnt want to slow down I feel that its best to workout early in the morning to get you woke up and ready for your day.
