I think she has a great voice but I'm comepletely sick of her personality and her facial expressions. UGH!!! Just like Simon said tonight she needs to get rid of that surprised look all the time the raised eyebrows! It's just so annoying and I don't want her to win. My favorites are Jordin Sparks and Lakisha Jones!

i agree. she needs to stop acting so surprised everytime she gets a compliment. she must know she sings well so why fake it.

Give Melinda a break! She has a wonderful voice and is probably the most talented person on the show this season or at the very least she is definitely in the top three. AS for her facial expressions, maybe she is genuinely surprised when she gets good comments. There are people out there who are absolutely amazing at what they do but don't actually realize how good they are. I suspect that she knows she is good but I suspect she is surprised that she gets so few negative comments. If you were to ask her I suspect she could probably point out something about every single one of her performances that she isn't 100% happy about.

Melinda is going to make it big. Bigger than the rest of the hopefuls this year. I am predicting this.

This is only one example but if I wanted to be picky, I couldn think of something to say about all the remaining singers I like.
What if I didn't like the way Blake's mouth looks when he sings slow ballad type songs (sings them so WELL!)... that would hardly be fair.
I might be annoyed by everyone's litthe "things" they do, but my favorites are still Melinda and Blake.

it is funny how people are trying the hardest to find something wrong with Melinda... she is the only one there that can really sing.... she could sing the phone book and it would sound good.....
and she seems like a genuinely nice person....

yah her facial expressions are odd. And you may remember they got rid of another girl because she made ugly faces while singing.
