I am doing a report on the Greek Goddess Persephone, I'm not sure what song to pick for her, it can be any type of song, but it has to be appropriate and no swearing. I need this ASAP because of course I procrastinated and waited until last minute. So please help me out! It needs to describe her and fit her description. beautiful, taken by hades, kind, and forced to be something she isn't. thank you so much!

Persephone represents underworld-- a place where Orpheus was searching for Eurydice
thus music and songs from the movie Black Orpheus are beautiful and appropriate, in my opinion. Good luck with your report.

See if you can find an old song called Temptation.
The lyrics go like.

Well, I'm not sure if it's what you would call "appropriate" but there is a song by a chick named Poe (you can look it up on limewire or something like that, it's not exactly what you would call "mainstream") called Wild. It's about how this chick over comes being raped and molested but instead of breaking her, it's made her stronger. Good song, kind of dark, very goth, but great song.
