I liked the Illusionist. The new James Bond movie was good entertainment. I liked V is for Vendetta. I liked Transporter 1 & 2. Denzel Washington's Man on Fire was really good. I even liked the newer Parent Trap. No doubt you have seen some of these and another of my favorites, the Matrix. The Mask of Zorro was good too. Once upon a time in Mexico was good. Really it depends on your taste in movies. I just listed some of those I liked.

Jersey Girl(romantic comedy with Ben Affleck)
Ladder 49 (drama comedy action romance) with John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix - a great movie that has it all
Phantom of the Opera - the film based on the popular musical has outstanding effects, great music, great characters, and a lot of good-looking people
Miracle (inspiring hockey movie with Kurt Russel about 1980 USA Olympic team)
National Treasure (fun light-hearted action/adventure movie with Nicolas Cage)
Little Man(immature yet hilarious Wayans Brothers comedy)
Heat(one of my favorite movies - a Cops and Robbers drama starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino)
Two Weeks Notice (great romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock) - a real treat

Hope that helps.

I'd go for some documentaries...there are quite a few good ones out there that are informational, but definitely not boring. Try 'Grizzly Man' (my personal favorite), 'Spellbound' or anything by Errol Morris.
I think you'll find it refreshing.
