Useless killing of usually young people. When two or more countries can not seem to co-exist with each other. Or there beliefs in religion, property lines and sometimes when countries are at civil unrest and this affects others that depends on products or services to other countries that they do business with.
On a personal note:
There's a song that John Lennon did called "Imagine". Which would be great to think if it could be possible.
Or even another. "All You Need Is Love" another Beatles tune.

War is any large scale, violent conflict. My own opinion of War is, advancement. From what I have witnessed with all the Wars we have had. We have made some form of advancement in Technology, Ideology or Philosophy. Though the sacrifices can be dear and harsh, at least we advance through our conflict.
