I bought a template and it says it comes with 3 colors. When i open up the template folder the is three sub folder in it. They are: html, psd, and xhtmlcss. The default color of the template is red. I want it blue. To make it blue you have to open up the .psd file and delete the red layer. But, i want to use dreamweaver to make the website. And i don't know if you can delete layers through dreamweaver. So instead i changed the photoshop one to blue and saved it as a html. But before it saves you have to add slices. Then when i open up the file in dreamweaver i can only edit the slice like move it around or delete them .IS their any way to change the template to blue and be able to change stuff through dreamweaver

You have to use Fireworks, an image authoring tool just like Photoshop. Recently Adobe acquired Macromedia and now Fireworks is one of the products of Adobe.

Fireworks is tightly integrated with Dreamweaver, and of course you can able to export resulting HTML from Fireworks into Dreamweaver.

You are editing the wrong one.

HTML = HTML
PSD = Photoshop
XHTML/CSS = advanced HTML

If this template is for the web, you should be editing the last one within Dreamweaver, instead of messing with the Photoshop one.
