I try not to be picky...to me it's all about personality. If you can make me laugh then you are a candidate!

I say I am not picky. But, I believe I truly am. I am not so much picky about physical characteristics, such as genetic features, as I am about state of health and hygiene. I don't care if a man is a little over-weight, just not so over-weight that he's not going to be around as long as I am. But, poor diet and lack of fresh air and an inactive lifestyle . . .the typical couch potato type . . .manifests on a man like a death pall. Yuk. Clothes can be shabby, casual, formal, whatever, just clean and purposeful, no fashionably droopy drawers type outfits. I prefer a man to dress as an individual for his comfort rather than to fit in or be "properly attired". I like long hair on a man, or bald, nice beards (well-trimmed) and that scrubbed look with his skin.

possibly because of the fact the standard public of adult adult males are purely after one factor. And it truly is coming from a guy, so I could know what we are like. simply by this women could be 'choosy' as they don't choose for to finally end up getting used or disrespected. regrettably, simply by this finished project certainly respectable adult adult males can locate it very perplexing to stick out from something, and might desire to persevere till they have been able to win the women folk have faith. a lot of adult adult males don't have the endurance to do this. And so we flow around in circles finding like a misplaced domestic dog.

He needs to appear to practice good personal hygiene habits and present himself well. Like he took the time to make himself presentable because he cares how he looks. Doesn't mean he has to be Mr. GQ, but certainly can't be a slob.

Wrinkled, dirty, or strange, unfashionable clothes, clothes that don't fit properly, big sweat stains in the armpits of his shirts, hair coming out of his nose, snaggly fingernails or toenails, all bad signs that would make me run for the door.

Remember how girls always go on about how good looking gay guys are?

It's not because those who are gay are born beautiful - it's because they LOOK AFTER THEMSELVES. i.e. get manicures and pedicures so they have nice nails, regular facials so they have lovely skin, have their eyebrows waxed so they suit their face, go to the hairdresser regularly and always have stylish cuts and colours that suit them. And the clothes (well don't dress gay, that's just, well, gay) - they are stylish! And most importantly, they WORK OUT AT THE GYM!!! Yes, just like women, men SHOULD have good bodies too (it's just that most of you men don't).

It's simple. Unless you're extremely unfortunate, you can be a "good looking guy" if you actually TRY!

So to answer your question, I think most women value appearance in guys, just like men do in women, but it's not AS important to women. But saying that, it IS important. Very important!

I just wonder how many men "let themselves go" (i.e. beer bellies, etc) and then blame the woman for not wanting to "have relations" with them, and THEN cheat on their women because they're not "satisifed". LOTS, I fear.

I'm not that picky. I mean, they have to have some good looks but overall I go for personality and how they treat people and if they are smart or not. Looks can only go so far, if they don't have something to back it up with then they really have nothing.

first impression is always the most important part, and before you ever talk to a girl, she's going to judge you by what you look like and how you carry yourself. This doesn't mean that you have to look like a model (though it won't hurt ya ;-) but just make sure that you're clean, and your clothes fir you well, etc... think about what your mom would've made you do before you go out when you were 10 :-)

hmm..I'm not really picky for a guy. As long as he is taller than me, pimple free complexion, tan, not too hairy, courteous not mouth full of crap and GOOD personal hygiene(very important!). That's all!

It depends on how interested he is in holding my attention. If he wants me to stay tuned he has to show some neatness. Lack of neatness says he doesn't care. If he doesn't care it would be hard not to then notice someone else who does care. How are you about a woman's appearance?
