i think it would look better closer to your lip...when i first got mine done, the piercer made the mark for my monroe close to my nose & i thought it looked ok, but then after he did the hole & put my jewelry in & it just didn`t look right...too close to my nose, it looked like a growth or something!!! lol so, he just took it out & re-did it immediately, nearer my mouth...it`s perfect now!!! as far as which side, that`s something u need to decide...i have my left eyebrow done, as well as my lip in the middle, & my nose on the right...i chose the right side for my monroe, as i just felt it would look better...anyways, hope i could help!!! enjoy your new piercing!!!

Why don't you get one up closer to the nose, one closer to the lip and one on the edge of your mouth,so you have three things total to be regretful for in the long run.Don't put uglies on your face, its not pretty.

A lot of it will depend on your anatomy and teeth. You want it to be placed where it will not interfere with muscle movement and where it will not damage your teeth and gums. You can ask your piercer to attempt a lower or higher placement, but trust their judgement if they say it will cause damage

Well, you'll be very employable (not) by the time you're finished with yourself won't you!

Urgh! SO TACKY!

Sorry, don't want to be mean but it's true. I guess you're trying to be an "Individual" just like everybody else. Seriously, it's tacky. Don't do it!

Don't do anything you might regret in the future.
