copy and paste are basically two functions in the PC that allows you to copy text or images from one document or page to another.

use your mouse to highlight the area of text you want to copy, right click and select COPY or use ctrl+c, go to the area where you want to past the text, right click and select PASTE or use ctrl+v.

copying will not remove the text from the document which you copied it from, however, ctrl+x OR right click option CUT will.

it is the same to copy images.
