I heard that tanning naked can be bad for you. Is this true? I don't want tan lines!

I tan naked at the nude beach all the time, and have never had any problems. I keep my skin moisturized and aloe-ed and check with my dermatologist (he's a friend as well) every year to make sure that there's nothing bad happening with my skin.
Just be sure to use a good sunscreen, at least SPF 30, the first few times you tan. After awhile you can cut that back to SPF 15, and once a few more days in the sun have passed you'll probably have a dark enough base to do away with sunscreen completely. Just be careful and make certain that you don't rush things too quickly.
Also, you need to remember that there are probably certain parts of your body that haven't been exposed to the sun very often in the past (boobs, butt, genitals etc.) so you'll need to pay particular attention to protecting those areas a bit more than the rest of your body.
Be smart and be careful, don't overdo it and you should be fine.
Good luck...tan lines suck, and naked sunbathing is really great if you take the right precautions.

If you go to an unreputable place where the pervies are watching, than yeah, it's bad! But getting an all over tan is no worse than getting tan in the usual spots. You may find that the areas that have never really seen the sun will tend to burn quicker than the other spots. I use to go in the tanning bed nude (I hate tan lines). and I never had a problem.

I never tan anything but naked. Feels wonderful and no unsightly lines on my body.

yes, because the parts that are always covered by the bathing suits/garments, does not get exposed to sun. if u tan naked those areas are very sensitive and it will be paiful, and the skin there will burn VERY FAST AND EASILY!! so don't tan naked!!

of course it's safe....use a good spf...and a higher spf on the
" delicate" areas...which are not used to the sun.
