I am going to look at it as if he is not abusing the constitution since no one can answer this question.

RIo, Rio, Rio... Give me an American who was tortured under whatever you're talking about.

I don't really care to hear a non American since we're talking about the contitution and only Americans have our constitutional rights.

Ah how are you on here if Bush has taken way the 1st Amendment (Freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion)?

Truth needs the truth. Pay attention people! Read between the lines! And I want to see sources of Bush's quotes regarding the Constitution. Those exclamations reek of the Left - they have been spouting that for years! Conservatives, by definition, want to keep - and are trying to save - the Constitution and the America it created. Furthermore, being safe and secure in my home, person, and papers means I should have a weapon to protect the same. Also, if you open it and read it and pay attention you will see the PatAct does not actually infringe on our rights, however, the Brady Bill did!!

Well, the last time I checked the 1st Amendment was still in tact. We're also protected from "unreasonable searches and seizures." I'm sorry, but monitoring a terrorist who is trying to kill innocent civilians isn't so unreasonable to me. Call me crazy but if my privacy is a little violated (which it's not) in order to save lives then I'll suck it up and move on. If you want to point the finger at Reps, then what would you say about all of the Dems wanting to violate our 2nd Amendment right? I try not to be insulting when answering questions but this is ridiculous!

I'd love to know a specific incident of rights being taken away. As for the wireless taps, Clinton and other presidents used it to as a part of national security. No one cared about Clinton because the Republicans didn't politicize it like the dems do at every turn.

well, you've covered the first one. So let's take a look at 2-10

#2 - Right to bear arms
That one seems to be in pretty good shape.

#3 - Quartering of troops
Haven't had too many soldiers spending the night at my place lately.

#4 - Search and Seizure
Haven't had the Feds bust into my house lately looking for IEDs.

#5 - Self-incrimination, etc.
Haven't had to testify against myself lately.

#6 - Speedy Trial
Haven't been in court too long lately.

#7 - Trial by Jury-
Haven't needed it, so I haven't been denied it.

#8 - Cruel and Unusual Punishments.
Haven't had a cattle prod shoved up my *** during the Bush Administration (or any other administration, for that matter).

#9 - Enumerated rights
No one with a Bush bumper sticker has come up to me and said, "You don't have the right to food because it doesn't list it in the Constituition"

#10 - Reserved rights of the States -
No Bush appointee has come up to me and said, "We don't care if the state of Massachusetts lets you do that. You can't do that because we said so".

So in summary, it doesn't look like any of my rights have been taken away. Maybe it's possible that you are incorrect and I still have my First Amendment rights???

Nah!!! Couldn't be.

The Fourth;

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Ever heard of the warrantless wiretaps Sparky?

How about the Patriot Act authorizing warrantless searches and seizures? That piece of anti-american swill also makes the fact the search took place a secret.

Bush has stated in public that he thinks the Constitution is nothing but " a god damned piece of paper"

“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

He's the greatest enemy to the rule of law in these United States.

I don't know about you, but I see dems trashing the constitution. PC, gun control, states rights & equal protection come immediately to mind.
