You may think you aren't, and they may tell you you aren't, but you are. I was in that situation before, and after a year and a half dating, he decided I was the rebound girl. Don't put yourself in that situation, it wasn't fun.

There is no real way to know. How long did the marriage last, how long did the divorce take, why did the marriage fail? These are questions that will help you decide if your new relationship is rebound or not.

Take the relationship slow to be careful.

For me, I waited a year. I wanted to be sure I had my head screwed on nice and tight before I entered into a relationship. Turns out for me that wasn't long enough. :-) At least for the relationship I was in. I would say take it nice and slow. Also be ready to do lots of emotional hand holding. Be ready in case he decides to head in another direction. If you are the 1st relationship since the divorce, chances are you won't be the last.

You have really no way of knowing for sure how someone else feels. It depends on the person.

About a year for most people, some less, some never.

I think it is depends on you too. How nice you are. And if you make him happy or not? That give him the reasons to stay around longer and not looking else where anymore.
