Rogue Galaxy, Dot.Hack GU or Valkyrie Profile 2?

Rouge Galaxy is an action RPG. You have to actively control the battles at all times. Lots of sidequest stuff, if you pay attention to things.

Dot Hack is the same, but is really much shorter. No real sidequests here, besides 4 gather quests and strengthing for the next one...

Valkyrie Profile to is a LITTLE more traditional. You can, and must plan out actions before you do them. Also a TON of hidden sidequests, but some of them are more than a bit obssesive and difficult. A FAQ or strategy guide is REQUIRED to find most of them.

I also recommend Dragon Warrior 8, a traditional RPG. Its 60+ hours easy.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories is a strategy RPG that will keep you busy for 30+ hours. 100+ if you get obsesive about all the stuff you can do!

If you don't have it, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is a long game too.
