If you haven't , then now is the time .

I've asked a few questions today about the Va. Tech killings . And every one of them were no brainers . Well , no brainers for decent rational folk , that is . Check it for yourself if you're skeptical .

I'm left wondering just how many people are so HEART-LESS that they can try and promote their own political agenda. . . . . . .at the expense of the victims and their families !!

Those kids died a little more than 24 hours ago !!

So , anyone who thinks it's quite alright to politicize such a human tragedy , why don't you explain to me, just exactly how long you do wait to learn the facts , and how long do you let the families grieve before you decide it's 'quite alright' to politicize the deaths of our fellow Americans ?

Holy shiiite!
Finally, you and I agree on something. Miracles never cease.
I have never 'reported' anyone for anything, but for the last two days I have 'zapped' about 20 stupid, insensitive, horrible posts linking Bush, Democrats or Republicans with this tradegy.
And it gave me great satisfaction: 'Take that, you freaking moron!'
If anybody reading this had their stupid questions 'zapped', yes, it was me!

Some feel the need to turn everything into a debate. The liberals start screaming "gun control" and the conservatives take the bait. Sad really. I for one have not participated in answering any of these questions. Everyone else should do so as well! Good point btw!

Thank you, and you are right. That was a terrible human tragedy and we should be more compassionate. I feel very sorry for the victims and the families who lost them precious young people. I know it has torn their life apart, and I hope and pray they have the strength to make it through all this. Thank you again, lot of us on here needed a good slap, and I am taking mine like a man.

Well I hear what your saying but the problem with that is. Was VT even thinking about the system failing to keep a kid like that from spinning out. From what I've heard the system for them to be able to get this help really wasnt able or allowed to reach him in the way necessary. The schools emergency and evacuation procedures were severely lacking, lets face it. He wasn't hunting, he was doing one of those "canned hunts". This one single individual had enough of a run of the campus to be able to lock up an entire building and had the luxury to go room to room. He didn't strike me as being methodical after he locked up that building he seemed very angry and my problem with that is someone had to have noticed this and didnt do anything. The cops never engaged this kid and he pretty much got to do what he was going to do. That doesn't seem like a system well prepared to handle this kind of problem. If this hadn't have happened would we be here discussing this? Do you usually go looking for problems that you dont have yet?

In my years of quiet observation, I have formed the opinion that many, if not most people, tend to agree with whatever the majority thinks, because it's easier. In situations like this one, where people actually have to connect their heart to their brain cells, and use both, it brings people closer together, and, amazingly, it also forces others further apart. True colors aren't always brilliant.

I can't agree that your "questions" (which aren't questions btw, but statements), today were "no brainers for decent rational folks". You yourself didn't put aside your politics and simply grieve, you put your political agenda right out there, attacking liberals left and right.
So take a look in the mirror and try and let the grieving friends and families have a little time to deal with this strategy instead of immediately trying to further your anti-liberal hatred.

People are upset and outraged. It gives some people the excuse they need to try to push their gun control agenda. Most political figures are saddened and will be public with their grief and respect for those who were murdered. Maybe you perceive people have ulterior motives for public grief and support but perhaps they do not.

what i find amazing is that republicans and democrats will use this tradegy as political fodder to futher there own causes.we as a country should now look at tighting gun laws, not banning them outright.is there any common ground....i doubt it.
