Once you get over being appalled by the shocking personal habits that men display when they believe no women are around, you take a look around and take stock of your situation.
You are one of several hundred "men" in a regiment. You are all skinny due to underfeeding, long marches and inadequate sleep. You spend most of the day marching back and forth, hurrying to and fro, and waiting. Finally, you walk up to within a few yards of a line of men dressed differently than you, you point your rifles at each other, fire and smoke erupts from the guns, and many of you die horrible, bloody deaths or suffer disfiguring injuries.

Why, dear child, didn't you start this assignment earlier? Now it's too late to do a good job, and it'll show. Google the name Jenny Wade. She was killed during the battle.
Be aware that there were very, very few women who participated as soldiers. They absolutely couldn't let it be known they were women. If that was found out they would be jailed and thereafter sent home with extreme prejudice. That did happen - fewer than four hundred women are known to have played the part of a soldier. The actual number may be twice that many.
A number of women acted as spies - both northern and southern women did. Some of the women were very good at it. A number of the better ones worked for Alan Pinkerton, the detective who was, for a time, head of military intelligence for the Army of the Potomac.
Good luck on your essay - and next time don't put off getting 'em done until the last minute!

Well, if it has to be written that way, you have to look at a map and decide where you were going to stuck while the battle is going on. The "battle" actually was several sweeping attacks and you are going to be observing most of them from a distance.
Here is a day-by-day hour by hour with maps

The conflict of Gettysburg replaced right into a key turning element interior the Civil conflict. here, take this quote from bear in mind the Titans: that's the place they fought the conflict of Gettysburg. Fifty thousand adult men died suitable here in this field, scuffling with the comparable combat that we are nonetheless scuffling with between ourselves at present. This green field suitable here, painted purple, bubblin' with the blood of youthful boys. Smoke and warm lead pouring suitable with the aid of their bodies. pay attention to their souls, adult men. I killed my brother with malice in my heart. Hatred destroyed my family members. You pay attention, and you're taking a lesson from the lifeless. If we don't come jointly suitable now in this hallowed floor, we too would be destroyed, purely like they have been. i do no longer care in case you like one yet another of no longer, yet you will admire one yet another. and probably... i don't know, perhaps we will learn how to play this sport like adult men. --coach Boone
