Tell him you can't afford to support the both of you and go to school, so unless he gets and holds a job, you're going to have to move out (someplace smaller/cheaper) so you can work toward your goals. You can still date, but he'll have to make his own way financially.

Don't put up with this...you aren't responsible for supporting him...that's up to him (or his parents if they desire). Plenty of people go to school, work, and raise children (alone) so his excuse of "no time" doesn't wash...he may just have to adjust his class schedule.

Unless he's at school from 7am until 10pm he has time for a job. Light a fire under his butt or leave. You have a life to live and he obviously doesn't think the same for himself. What for, he's getting a free ride! He probably CAN help you out financially but he WON'T unless he puts EFFORT into it. People work 2 or 3 jobs at a time. People go to school full time and have a full time job. People work two jobs and have 3 kids. What's his excuse again? You can even work from home and bring home a paycheck... Lazy dirtbag is what I'm thinking...

Ya dump his a**! Take care of yourself, your just going to be weighed down carrying him, and never get your life on track! If you have plans and goals, go for it! He sure found himself a doormat! Your just like his mama, takin' care of him like he's the only important one in the relationship! He'll sure have to find time to find a job when no one is supportin' his a**!
This is just not right! You want better than this, that's why you asked this question. Respect yourself, you are important too!

Well, I guess unless you want to put your life and plans on hold so, that you can support him go ahead. Why should he go get a job when he has you to take care of him? Get rid of him and take care of yourself.

Dump him, and see how will he react? If he's reallly didn't care, you should move on and continue with your life. Just ignore him, because he is not a responsible person, eben to himself!

Pack his things, leave them on the front porch, make him hand over his key, show him the door and tell him to not let it hit him in the butt on his way out.
