that guy shot them people at Virgina tech. Not how he got the gun.Any one can get a gun at the nearest city or out of the news paper. what was going on there to make a man kill them yung men. kind of strange if you ask me

I agree with you. It's about why he did it not about why he got his hands on a gun. If there is no restriction on guns then it is in the individuals hands how they use them.
I don't believe it is guns that kill it's the person. He could have gone around stabbing people and we would still frown down on him etc. I think it's more taking care of people in our society, noticing tell tale signs (much like his teacher did but higher authority did nothing to help)

Illegally anybody can get gun. The anti-gun cry babies have made it harder for law abiding citizens to acquire one.
Lifes strange. Since the murderer killed himself, we will never know what really set him off.
