For me, "Enduring Love" is NOT a perservering love between a couple in order to attempt to make their relationship work... NO...
It is what I call: Being used as a doormat by an abusive, and selfish partner.

No relationship is perfect, but when one of the partners are not doing so well the other is there for them, and when bad times hit both of them at the same time and they can pull through it, that is an enduring love to me.

Your definition is actually not enduring but rather tolerating love. As others have said "enduring Love" is a love that can over come ANY obstacle's that comes along.....over coming them as partners and friends....no matter what it is....money, job loss, problems with children everyday ups and downs. Working as a team to solve the problem and move on. To me that is a enduring....and....lasting love.
