well im half latino and half African. jus calling yourself white or black doesnt give you a true identity so i can understand why white latinos dont call themselves white or black latinos dont call themselves black. i think we shud rid of the labeling by skin color altogether. latino just lets you know that the person is from latin ameica but does not specify race. also many latinos are multiracial so its hard for us to really specifiy. i mean my latino side has european, native american, and African roots so it just easier to say im Dominican and Ugandan then to say im white, black, and native american. i see my identity more from what countries i come from not from what my skin color is
