Both Sharpton, and Jackson feed on incidents like this. They are sharks swirling around waiting for someone to make a mistake, then they are right there in their face calling everything and anybody a racist to anyone that will listen. The public is so gullible with these two that they will listen to anything they say and agree with it. They can get away with it because once more they will do the race thing with it. I agree Imus was wrong in what he said, but the other two...well they've been doing it for decades and we are so used to them it just doesn't matter what they say. WAKE UP!!!

when did Sharpton call Imus a Cracker? Imus said that he, himself was a cracker, not the other way around. I do not care for Sharpton and I want to ask, what is on the girl's ipods? There is a double standard and where do you begin? Black comedians make fun of white people all the time, what would happen if a white person made fun of a black people?

cause hes black. it's a double standard, yes, but it is socially acceptable. the rev n black people r the minority n when they say those types of things about a majority group such as whites its no big deal because white people have the power. you could compare it to siblings. when the big brother calls the little brother a name, ex: nappy headed hoe, mami makes it clear that that is out of bounds and big brother gets punished (Don Imus). when the little brother calls the big brother cracker, the big brother is not sympathized with because he has the power in the relationship. the little brother is able to say whatever he pleases because no one will feel bad for a white person.

Cracker has no history of a derogatory meaning. It's just something that is white.

Who can I get to go on national TV and rant about how I'm scarred for life? Al, get out the checkbook and start writing out zeros...
