I don't know many of the other words but a lady sings it and it's an 80's song all I know is theres a break down towards the end where they say oh oh oh.... oh oh oh....., oh oh oh...... oh oh oh...., then they start singing the chorus again. I think it was on one of those eighties movies.

Two songs come to mind. Rod Stewart's "Tonigh's The Night" and "Best of Times" by Styx. The oh oh oh part is tricky. And both singers have clearly distinctive male voices... so maybe those are not the songs you are looking for

The song you're thinking of (and an EXCELLENT song it is) is called "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" by Genesis. It can be found on their "Invisible Touch" cd. It can also be found on their greatest hits collection entitled, "Turn It on Again: The Hits".....if you search one of the above mentioned Genesis CDs on Amazon.com you can actually play a sample of the song to verify whether or not it is the song you had in mind.....

You might be referring to Tonight Is The Night by Betty Wright. Hope this is the song. It is the only one I could think that might fit.

The only thing that comes to mind is a song from Dirty Dancing, but those aren't the exact lyrics. Is it upbeat? Is it more soulful or rockish? I really wish this thing had audio so you could at least hum the melody to me. :)
