Journey was the greatest band ever in the 70's and 80's, but now, though they are still very good they aren't my favorite anymore. I think they are the greatest band ever because the were/are all incredible musicians, and not only were they incredible but there talents all worked together the right way. If you don't believe me listen to their music, its magical, there is something that worked perfect in their sound. There is also the fact they have sold almost 80 million records. And one of my biggest reasons for picking them is that they went though the entire rock star scene, but never were destroyed from drugs or sex. They kept a impressively clean rock music scene. So there you go.

I think The Beatles was the greatest band ever, because they were probably the biggest influence on music as we know it today.

There is none.. but some great ones are
Symphony X- Every musician in this band is freaky in talent. Some people compare them to Dream Theater, but i like them better.

Pantera- Great band. Dimebag, Vinnie, Rex, Phil... thats all there is to say.

Children of Bodom- Great band. A little darker, but pretty melodic.

In Flames- Best song is Jotun. Killer riffs and everything is great in this band. One of my favorite Melodic Death bands.

Difficult to give one group but my choices are: Antonio Carlos Jobin - Brazilian music personified. Stanley Black and his orchestra romantic; Harry James, Glenn Miller, the Dorsey boys good ole easy listening. Also Erroll Gardner - great jazz

straight up Blink 182 hands down!

number one reason - hooked me on punk rock,

then the fact Tom, Mark and Travis were three amazingly talanted dudes that happen to know how to rock out and were blessed with being able to leak out hottness from every direction.

and in true band fashion split at their highest point, nothing like going out on top.

THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!! because they are christain and even though they are famous, they act like a normal family when they are at home. They have chores and they eat meals together like families should. Also, Nick(14) has diabetes, which he just found out, and that is inspiring to many people. (o ya, their dad is a pastor too)
