I don't really think it's bad. In fact, I think it's better that way. Would you rather date someone who you've known for a long time? Or just somebody you've only known for about a week? You'd have a much more long-lasting relationship if one were to date their own friend.
But I'm not saying you should just go ahead and start dating all of your friends. Just see if you two like each other enough (not that I'm implicating that you are the one considering dating your friend).

It doesn't have to be bad. Depends on how close you are, I guess. I've heard of success stories and I've heard of nightmares. Be careful not to change too much in your relationship. Stay best friends. My boyfriend is definitely my best friend. It's important to be more than a relationship, be best friends.

I've had a dream of being with my best friend....and told him and we both laughed^_^. And I hought it was very disgusting! (even though he's cute lol .To me it would be very awkward to be with my best friend....but then again maybe best friends are better for a relationship because you know everything about each other.

well it depends on if they are both boys that is bad if they are girl and girl ,bad but it could be bad or good if they really like each other and they are boy and girl ....
but there is no problem when 2 friends that like eachother go out.

Two thoughts
One. It could be wonderful if you already know one another and it would be a relationship that would grow to great highest.
Two. It could destroy your friendship if it didn't work out, make everything odd and weird.

Any time 2 close, "Best" friends date.... you go forever beyond the friend thing.......and venture into new waters.
Once you take that path, you can never........ever.......go back.
You risk everything......including that friendship....
Then again... some things in life are worth the risk.........
