what is the part of a fertilized egg which could become a chick???

The yolk becomes the chick. The albumin (white part) provides protection for the chick, and it also provides nutrients for the the developing chick.

The part on this diagram that turns into the chick is the part labeled "germinal disk". The yolk is the food for growth of the embryo.
