it took place in a big mansion and one girl died in the swimming pool when somebody covered it with a glass cover while she was underwater. it also had a scene where some dude chokes on turkey or something. it may have been a european horror movie ( giallo?) im perplexed please help.

I think it may be "The Legacy" (of Maggie Walsh) with Katharine Ross and real life husband Sam Elliott.
Six people come to an estate somewhere in England (I think) and slowly each one dies until no one is left except Maggie Walsh. Sort of a cult waiting for the leader to die so someone could take over the business so to speak.
