For me, surgically its my total thyroidectomy scar on my neck.
Colorfully, its my Pooh tattoo on my right ankle.

the scar on my left elbow was from falling on a friend's brick garden, one behind my left thigh from an open margarine tin (I was 4, my sis n i had that stupid race who could jumped higher, i guess I lost), and a circular scar on my nose from small pox (my sis joked that i have three nostrils!) all of them are favourites. my mum has the same scar as yours from thyroidectomy though (i don't think it's her fave, cuz she kept concealing it)

I have a small circular scar on the inside of my right elbow. I got it from falling off the playground merry-go-round as a young child.

I have one on my shin from a motorcycle accident where the bone popped out through the skin its about 6" long and an inch wide.

I have a knee scar from falling off my bike, but it's okay...I was six when it happened and the boy who helped me up gave me my first kiss on the cheek to help me feel better. After that, we were a couple from kindergarden to fourth grade, but then I had to move. I sometimes imagine what could have been! :)

the one on my shin which i got at 5 running from my mean old big sister straight into the corner of the bedframe. and the one on my left shoulder i got in kindergarten when they used to line all kids up in the gym and the evil nurse would viciously stab us with the immunization needle.

i have a large scar that goes up the back of my neck and up the back of my head from a spinal fusion

I've got one just above my right eyebrow that adds another line by my eye. It's kinda neat. I also have another one down the right side of my nose that gives me kind of an intense sneer when I'm mad.
