one should always ponder what they say or are about to say, for once a word is spoken it can not be taken back, once a lie is spoke it is forever out there a lie, and once a truth is revealed, nothing can remove it. It is said that every word, every sound every scream and cry in the night and light are within the earths atmospheres forever and can not leave it.

Think always before you answer, and pour out your heart gently and extremely careful....for all are touched by your breath.

It depends on the question...
My primary interests are psychology, theology, and philosophy, and I am comfortably knowledgeable enough in each of those three areas that I could easily pour my Heart out for most questions in those areas and still give a good answer- even if it really was a thinking question. Unfortunately I'm too much of a perfectionist when it comes to writing to let my self off so easy and I'm more likely to go to the opposite extreme and over analyze the feeling questions and turn most questions into thinking questions.... i think i THINK too much.

ideally i would answer with a smooth blend of Heart and Mind. i find the easiest way to achieve that is to first write out my gut reactions and then use that as my outline as I go back and do the needed research to adequately present the factual information needed. if my gut reaction was an angry one i may also need to do some softening of my language to not offend the asker of the question :P

Do I, think before I answer, or pour my Heart out, you asked? I always ponder the question, than answer it, and pour my Heart out. because when asked a question you need to examine the question, and think what your reply is going to be, and if it is going to help, that person who is going to receive the answer. I hope I made myself clear on your question.

Ideally, I try to listen first, carefully, to see what questions (and what assumptions) underlie the question asked. Then I think, to clear my mind of reaction, prejudice, assumptions, and dross as much as I can - and to discern what lies truly in what some call my "heart". Then I'll answer; and in the process often discover what comes spontaneously to mind. It may take moments or a day or two - depending on urgency, time available, and how much "the back of my head" thinks I should spend on it. If the asker is a child, it may take all the time they have, and I'll often return to the question with them to explore it with them. I have very tolerant and patient children and grandchildren!

I always think before I answer, because I'm afraid of saying something that will make people think I'm stupid. Occasionally if the question is about something that hits too close to home for me, I will become very emotional and maybe say too much..but I still think about what I'm saying before I answer.

I try to think before I answer, but there are times where emotions get involved and I just let my feelings get in the way first, Take care, good question though.

I guess it truely depends on the question and whether it involves matters of the heart.

i usually try to think about what i am about to say but usually the answer that comes straight from the heart is the most appreiciated one

I tend to pour my heart out and leave myself open if I am sympathetic to someones comment, if not I will stop and try and watch what I say.
