No doubt she had the babies, but she and the other guppies ate them before you found them. She should have babies again in about 4 weeks and the other female will probably have babies before that. Be sure to get a breeder net or another tank for the female to go in right before she has her babies and that will protect them from the adults. If I can help more just drop me an email.

A few things are possiable here, she had her little ones and the adults ate them.

She wasn't pregnant in the first place and was suffering from a form of bloat which cleared

She was too young to breed and reabsorbed the little ones. Could you actually see the gravid spot or the babbies?

Chances are she is still pregnant. Guppies retain the males sperm (if you will) for future use. Expect the next batch in about 28 day.

I would get to about the 25th day and place her into a breeding net. Remember around this time, feed your fish a little more. They won't eat the babies if they are well fed.

Don't worry, you will have more soon. Also did you check your tank carefully for any that may have made it? They are very tiny and sometimes hard to see.

Sorry, but you need to separate the pregnant female from the other guppies. Next time, put her in a breeding tank or a breeding net that you can insert at one end of your tank.

I'd hate to say what I think might have happened.

The babies were born and eaten by all 3 fish. In 5 weeks she'll be ready again to give birth. Keep her in an isolation tank with a breeding trap if you want to save and raise the babies.

I have guppies, too, and they went through the same thing. It was REALLY weird, but fish can get fat, so many she was just overfed. But I'll bet she had her babies, and hid them under a rock, or the fish ate them. SAD. I really don't know how to breed them though, cux one of my guppies died, so I only have one. Maybe one day, they'll come swimming out from under a rock, and then it'll be cool. I recommend looking around their bowl for a filmy substance.

Are you sure it didn't have the babies? What makes you think it couldn't have had them? Mom guppies eat their babies, so when they are born, you have to remove them and put them in an isolation tank until they get older.

She probably did have the babies during the night and the big fish ate them. The adults will eat the babies as soon as they are born if you dont remove them and put them in a separate holding net. The best live barers are Black Mollies.

They all 3 ate them, that is why you put the pregnant female in a breeder with floating grass in with them , so the babies can hide, and take the female out as soon as possbile. at frist you can hardy see them, they are so small, but if you look real close and watch hard you will see them
