Why do women gossip so much, then turn around and say they hate it?

Ok, I know men do it too, but women are FAR worse.

Simply put, is that women are much more emotion based persons than men, and therefore much less self-conscious of reality. Women like to create scenarios and they are much more sensitive than us about small things, like small talks, it is why their social network is so important, it helps them to expressed emotions, which in turn feeds them... During the whole process they never take notice that it is not normal to act like what they do, because it is strickly speaking an emotional thing that is not explainable. So if you argue with any women about this topic (privately of course) they will simply respond that you can't understand women... They are right, there is, manly speaking, nothing to understand about females emotions, it happen when it wants for the "reason" it wants... But it is pretty much related to how they define themselve inside their social network... Identity crisis I guess or in formation... Men can do as well, but our social network is not defined the same way as women does, so things like this happen much less often.

Women are worse eh? You should go hang out at the local coffee shop that my Dad frequents. It's all men and ALL gossip, all day long!

Everyone gossips and everyone says they hate it, when it comes back to bite them in the @ss.

Because when you are gossiping about somebody else it is fun, exciting and just plan hateful at times. So they will say they hate it because they don't want to be the object of any such gossip...knowing how nasty it can get.

Because it our way of communication. But some times it can hurt you in the end. But you can't just say it's women .Cause men do it as well. And men are just as bad.. If you think about it.

Gossip is also social collateral. Gossip is also another way for people to connect.

My policy: if you're going to gossip about someone, make it positive.

Not always, and not all men, not all women...but as a general tendency.
