If the tabloids can afford paying $ 5 million for the story from the split of the Princes William, should we not as responsible reader , avoid and boy cott them by not purchasing nor by reading them? Is this than not our responsibility to those who are in the public eye?

The tabloids are a form of entertainment. At least that is how I view them. And no, I do not purchase them.

They obviously have a massive audience in that they can invest 5 million dollars for a story!

As a responsible reader, (whatever you mean by that term), you have the right to not buy the tabloid if the news does not suit your beliefs or value system.

What is your definition of a responsible reader? The mainstream media (NYT, CNN, etc...) report heinous stories everyday. Some are obliquely true, some are blatantly false.

Should we boycott them also? When you think about it, any journalism and/or media news is not entirely true, because it goes through an editing filter to determine what should be reported.

First, this is for all you people that dis tabloids, if you don't want the public to see it don't do it where the public has access to see you do it. Now an invasion of privacy ie peaking in on someone going to bathroom is different. Every picture tells a story and people see what they want to believe. The public is not responsible for what is reported.
