wouldn't that be easier? I could like, garuantee you that half of the victims would've survived/ not gotten injured.

oh, and another question, would you consider the shootings at 7:15 and the one around 10 two shootings or just one?

Just one, because it was done by one person.

They did email the faculty about the first two shootings of the students in the dorm. They locked down. Nothing happened for 2 hours, they lifted the lockdown, then he bust out again and started the second part. In my opinion, they shouldn't have lifted the lockdown. They should have let the authorities search the campus for the shooter. If no one was found, they should have kept the campus on high security alert and stationed police all over.

The president of Virginia Tech answered that question in a press conference that there were tons of e-mails sent all at once clogging the system, which seems very plausible.

Most of the students were on their way to class at that time. They would not have recieved the message. The first murder scene was cordoned off and they thought that the shooter was gone. They didn't figure on him coming back.

What good would emailing them do? I seriously doubt they had time to read their mail and duck at the same time!
