Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles. I know they're older bands, but not many new bands do their own music nowadays

Tons of bands do their own stuff...
bands like DAVE MATTHEWS...
Some bands might throw in a cover or something, but most "real" 'groups' nowdays write and play their own songs!

We have a local band that performs in my church call "The Unforgiven." They write all of their own music.

Professionally, look up anything that is prog metal. Nightingale is a good one.
