1) Exfoliate. Products I like:
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads - smooth on one side & textured on the other for extra exfoliation.
Murad AHA/BHA face wash - exfoliates w/ the AHA/BHA & jojoba beads.
Avon Microdermabrasion Scrub - evenly sized granules, no added fragrance, rinses clean. Highly effective w/o irritation.
2) Mask
Milk of Magnesia - apply in thin layer where needed & allow to dry 5-10 mins. Will absorb oil & tighten pores.
Origins Charcoal Mask or Beauty w/o Cruelty Clay Mask - both work well. Beauty w/o Cruelty is a better bargain.
Plain yogurt makes a good, soothing mask. You can add some ground oatmeal for a little extra exfoliation and honey for a little moisture.
Or you can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.
Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:
Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.
Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.
Held 6 aspirin in my palm, and slowly dripped water onto them until they fizzled and dissolved! Once dissolved, I added 2-3 drops of honey into it and mixed it around with my finger. Applied to my face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.
Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.
Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.
3) Use a toner. Witch hazel w/o alcohol or little alcohol or
for toner:
8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin
or
mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

This is the greatest honey facial mask recipe! It works amazingly well :)

Raw honey works amazing because not only is it natural, but it has anti-bacterial properties that works just as good and probably better than any lab-made cream in the market. I Highly recommend honey facial masks.
How do I minimize size of pores? I don't have bad skin and I'm not old .. Help?

Maybe try a Pore Minimizing Face Wash? I also heard that washing your face with warm water and then rinsing in cold helps to close up the pores. Also maybe a pore minimizing astringent.
Large pores run in my family and so far I am able to combat the problem using those things.
Just my opinion, hope this helps.

Try doing an at home facial. You can buy a bottle of liquid face mask at just about any drug store, and if you leave it on for about 10 minutes, it should minimize pores within a day or so. Good Luck!

Hi your skin is like mine it feels like ifs for ever changing and my pores are like yours too. I think this is because something your using is clogging your pores up which is causeing spots and blemishes, obviously hormones and stress has lots to do with it. I would take a look what you have been using and try and not touch or pick at them. But I have been using Clean and Clear exfoliation scrub which removes dirt that are clogging your pores and helps get rid of the spots to. If you have sensitive skin you might have to use it every other day rather than everyday, as it tend to burn my skin, but if ever my skin is misbehaving I just use this.
There are a few things out at the moment for skins like ours, but as I have sensitive skin I can usually not use them but you might be able to. But avon does one called pure porefection, is for skin that is prone to blemishes and visable pores they do a self foaming cleanser, skin refining toner, skin refining mask and a oil control get cream. It not for teenage spot skin its made for people past that stage if you know what I mean.

well first stop fretting and don't worry! There are many products out there that can help you. Make sure that you are using a good cleanser, toner & moisturizer. Try a cleanser with a bit of a scrub in it to help speed up your skins renewel rate. Then if you wear a concealer, try a cream to powder concealer - make sure it is non-comedogenic and has anti-inflamatory properties, this will help minimize the appearance of your pores, especially on your nose. Email me if you need further help, I'm here!
