I'm into science and would like to keep up with it, and this weekly magazine seems interesting but I dont know about its reputation, it's a magazine, not a journal

I've read the paper version, not the online. Coverage seems authoritative, broad, and clear. The articles are very brief. It can keep you up to the minute (well, up to the week) on what's going on, but it doesn't go into depth like Scientific American.

I subscribe to "Science News" as well. It is the best short weekly update available on all areas of current science developments. I have read it online, and it is easy to access, but I much prefer the paper version. With the paper version I can much more easily and readily go back later and check articles or portion of articles.
